but sometimes pretty things spring up from the rot.
some blood thins with separation. and sometimes blood ties get stronger.
there’s a lot of strength in my family, in my friends.
we get by.
I met a girl last night who loves to dance as unashamedly as me - if not more so.
It’s been too long since I danced in a focused way. This, after 15 years of ballet, pointe and more.
My first language was Choreography. It came so easily. Now my feet and brain don’t talk the way they used to. This is probably how I will feel the effects of aging, starting today: not being able to move the way the dance used to pull.

First Time: Today I ate a tomato like an apple. It reminded me of a creepy scene from that cult movie “The Last Supper,” but was delicious all the same.
